Suddenly I am getting a fatal error (see below) running 9.0 DigitalNature. I've searched and found a similar thread but cannot find Category table referenced in that thread and am not totally sure that is the issue. Here's the text that I get when trying to access my site - www.gigglebits.com
SQL/DB Error -- [Table 'pligg.modules' doesn't exist]
SQL/DB Error -- [Table 'pligg.links' doesn't exist]
ERROR: my_base_url is not set. Please correct this using the admin panel. Then refresh this page.

Can anyone help me with this? My site is basically FUBARED until I get it fixed

OK - found the issue with the help of and many thanks to kbeeveer46 and iamsavant in the Pligg IRC room. It was the settings.php file that somehow became empty. iam and kb gave me the proper code and now my site is back up and functioning properly. If you have a similar error try checking your settings.php file and see if it is empty. Here's what they gave me -- <?php $my_base_url = 'http://localhost'; $my_pligg_base = ''; $dblang = 'en'; define('table_prefix', 'pligg_'); include_once mnminclude.'settings_from_db.php'; ?> Note that localhost should be your domain name. Hope this helps anyone in the same boat as I was -- I hate being sitesick. Last edited by filtalr; 02-08-2007 at 07:30 PM.. |

BTW - tried to find a way to post issue as [fixed] but didn't find how. Anybody know how to append that to the post title?
