"URL is invalid or blocked" - how to allow blocked URLs?

Hi

One of my sites is a directory of social networking sites etc. so I wanted to link Digg.com and Ning.com - but these come up with an error message:

eg.

URL is invalid or blocked: (http://www.ning.com/)

I have searched files for mention of blocked sites, but not found anything.

How do I unblock/allow any sites of my choosing?

admin > config > submit > validate URL. Change it to false.

Thanks for that. But, is there a stored list of unallowed URL's? Why would Digg and Ning not be validated? Would I increase chance of spam if I switch validaing URLs to False?

There is no list. I think your server has restricted the code that this feature uses to check URLs. This is why we provide an off switch in case of your situation.

What is the specific code they usually disable? How should I request that this should be reenabled?

Could be something you modified...i had the error when I was trying to do digg video module
