Highlighting the recent comment submitted by user!

Hello all,

A user views a story, writes a comment on it, submits it the page refreshes and loas again.

Is there any way to set the recent comment in the browsers view or highlight it? Your suggestions, ideas will really help me.

Put this if statement around the comment area

 {if $user_username eq 'you'} {/if}

That *should* determine if the comment is yours and then you can do whatever you want to it. I know digg has recently changed their comments page to darken the comment header if it is your comment.

But how find if it is the latest comment by that user? Any thoughts into this?

I just got a small hint into this - if ($comment_age eq 0). Together with {if $user_username eq 'you'} {/if} was able to get it :)

Thanks kb for pointing in rite direction. Currently we have no plans to improve it further to complete this but anyone wishes they can develop to display a highlight of the recent comment - we will try working on this if no one volunteers - but we are busy with other work (not the spying other project work ;) - people will know what I mean) and if time permits will work on it next week to complete it.

Also we are not very familiar with CSS and AJAX effects of highlight etc...
