Did you try clearing your templates_c cache?

Have a link to your site? I'm not sure how pligg.tpl was deleted by "clicking a link."

- You replaced the files with the files from a different template?
- Sometimes your browser keeps the CSS in the cache. So you replaced everything, but the browser shows you the template with the digitalnature CSS. Try and press CTRL+R for the refreshing of your page to have the latest CSS file.

- The "deleting a tpl file by clicking a link" is utter @$%@*^. I guess something else was responsable for that.

i tried to say that i was playing (changing templates/css file etc.) with different designs. you know changing one template or css and uploading then previewing again changing something... i dont know how i did but i must have deleted somehow while uploading in ftp client.

when it turned to digitalnature i thought it must be because of pligg.tpl because while every page is loading script controls if pligg.tpl is present or not. if not it turns to default.

so i realized that it's about pligg.tpl then i turn to ftp client and look at the template directory i noticed that pligg.tpl is not there. then i just uploaded the exact same version of pligg.tpl which was deleted.

anyway i dont understand how can script mess up the css layout. because there is _exactly_ no change to any file. anyone has opinion?

My guess is that while you were ftp-ing stuff onto your server, some files were messed up, so replacing just the pligg.tp file was not enough. Some other files would have been messed up. Determining which files exactly were messed up would be a problem because there is hardly away of tracking that. Anyway, I suggest you install a fresh template.
