Joomla

Anyone able to setup Pligg and Joomla together on one site? I am trying to do this, but have no idea where to begin.

I want Pligg to be a page on my Joomla site and to adopt the Joomla template.

I was thinking of not only the users database table but also the template used in joomla. So instead of having the default template of pligg, the bridge will carry over whatever template is selected in joomla and put it in pligg. Is that possible? Has anybody done that already?

no its not possible, you must clean the pligg template and simplified to obtain a nice look.. so (no more header or footer it depends of your design) the wrapper only show a site into another one..

oic.. hmm.. that got me thinking..
if i would leave the pligg template alone (like yget for example), then add the header and footer templates of joomla by editing the pligg.tpl file.. is that somewhat possible?

thanks!

the templates of joomla has <jdoc:include> functions which calls specific modules in joomla.. these functions generate some dynamic content for the template. does anybody know how to do a work around for this one so it will work with pligg?
thanks
