Profile extra field value to be read from other pages - how?

Hi again,

I added a new profile extra field, now my problem is to read it from other say index.php for that user and display the value - how do I go about that?

(no problems with displaying in profile edit page - the problem is to read and use at normal pages - incase if the above statement is confusing)

Any help is much appreciated.

Pull a profile field into story - General PHP question

It is kinda related - but in my case - I need to pull a profile-extra field that was defined by the module users_extra field and a modified version of google_adsense_revenue_sharing module.

Say I need to get the google adsense id for an other reason (not for displaying the ads - I can do that by modifying the show_ads.tpl)
