'Modify Language' is blank

Hi,
Just did an install of Pligg 9.7.0 and am trying to change the title. When I went to Admin -> Modify Language the page was blank. All other pages seem to work fine though, it's really wierd. If anyone could help it would be appreciated.

Try to chmod /libs/lang.conf to 777

It's still not working.

Just to be certain, I was following the installation instructions at http://www.pligg.com/faq.php:

For something like
4. chmod 777
/avatars/user_uploaded
/backup
/cache
/templates
/templates_c

Do I just chmod just the directory, or it and all files and subdirectories?

Open up /lib/lang.conf and you can change all text on the site there. Well, most anyway. Do a quick search for "Pligg Beta 9.7" (or whatever the current title is now) and replace it with your desired title.

Isn't 777 chmod dangerous in terms of allowing everyone write access?

Once you made your changes - you can change the lang.conf back to 644.
