help on published story

on default, story will be published on the front page when get 5 votes. I have lots of stories had reached this. so I set the default to 10, and I found the published stories that less than 10 votes are still on front page. are they always on front page since they are published?

Once a story is already published - it will stay there unless you force it.

To move your existing stories from published to unpublished - Visit your Admin control panel, select news management, mass select the stories to which you need to move to upcoming, perform that action using the button in the bottom for mass action.
