New Pligg User - Root or Folder?

Hi All, I have not installed the software yet. Just downloaded it today.. 9.9.

I know that most sites install it to the root of the domain, like this:

yourdomain.com or whatever it is.

What if I want to use the software in a different folder like this?
yourdomain.com/pligg/

I want to keep the root of the site for something else entirely,.. as an extension to the pligg software, so I want to install things in a different folder. How hard would it be to do this? I am assuming the software is set up to use the "root" of the domain, so what would be necessary to change up with it in order to use a folder of that domain/site instead of the root?

Do you see what I mean?

I'm just a stupid owner. LOL I just want to know how difficult it will be for my programmer to do this?

Thanks.

You can use it in in the following ways
Yourdomain.com
Yourdomain.com/pligg/
Yourdoamin.com/some-subfolder/pligg/
Pligg.yourdomain.com

yeah maybe..

On your site
Go to ADMIN

then go to Configure Pligg

Then goto location Installed

and I think you will find what you need..

Doug thanks for the reply

I went to location Installed and tried a few different things, such as

yourdomain.com/pligg
pligg.yourdomain.com
www.yourdomain.com/pligg
www.pligg.yourdomain.com

but www.yourdomain.com works best for this because it allows for the correct email to be sent if you need your password reset.

However, when i goto pligg.yourdomain.com the page does not appear correctly...nothing is centered and almost everything appears on the left side

any solutions?

Considering its a subdomain the location in the admin section should be pligg.yourdomain.com...right?

Thanks
