how to upgrade 9.0 to 9.9

my pligg version is now 9.0
i want to upgrade it to 9.9

I downloaded 9.9's file from here
Pligg Beta 9.9.0

and installed it

then went to install page
http://www.be-emotion.com/pligg/install/install.php

and clicked "upgrade tab" and clicked "yes"

but it would not proceedet at all showing this message

This will upgrade the database for Pligg Beta v9.0 and above to the latest version.

Note: this is just a database upgrade, you still need to upload the new files.
