Ok now I got Pligg what do I do with it?

Sorry to say I know nothing of programing, but I do know what this software is supposed to do. I would really like to use it on just the front page of my website. My domain is through Godaddy and I use their Website Tonight account to build my site. Will this work with what I got and if so could someone point me in the right direction on how to use it. I'm a noob at this now ,but I learn extremely fast. Thank you for your time.

You need to login into your Pligg install and start configuring it the way you want ti setup. It will take some playing around.

Then you will want to definitely alter the template.

You do this in the templates folder, easier to leave the name yget, and just cahnge the CSS and .tpl files.

Some features require you to make style changes in .php files usually located in the root. Exmaple sidebar_stories.php

There are a lot of modules available in the Modules forum, just remember to backup any file you change so you can change it back if things go wrong.

Lastly, frequent these forums for help and suggestion. I suggest reading old posts as well to get ideas, then ask if its possible in your version, which I assume is 9.9.0

A lot of mods will not work in 9.9.0 yet, so be sure to ask prior to installing this will save you time and a few headaches.

Good luck,
Geoserv.
