Some Weird error?

I'm trying my best to install this without hiring anyone. After I installed it I got a few errors that I fixed but this one is beyond me:


Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end, expecting '(' in /home/author/public_html/Pligg_Beta_9.9.0/class.compiler.php on line 406

any ideas?

That error would really only show if someone tried editing some of the code.

well, like I said.. that error would only come about if you edited the code.. it's possible that you failed to upload all the files correctly.. I would suggest re uploading and trying the install again.
