Help with step 4

ftp> chmod 666
(remote-file) libs/lang.conf
550 libs/lang.conf: No such file or directory

There's not lang.conf file that comes with the 9.9 package in /libs/

Can I just skip this part of step 4 or can I download the correct lang.conf somewhere?

Thanks for any help.

Oops, sorry -- just realized that's step 5, not step 4.

I think thats something that was in the installer from the last version.

The lang.conf file is now located in /languages/lang_english.conf

Sorry, still having a problem (I'm a newb)-- after I upload everything, I get this error message when I go to my site with a browser:

"The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
The script had an error or it did not produce any output. If there was an error, you should be able to see it in the error log."

My host uses MySQL 5.0.45 and PHP 4.4.7

Could the problem have to do with the fact that my "document root" is /home/users/web/b2848/sl.username/public_html while my URL is username.startlogic.com? If so, how do I deal with this?
