| Install Help: re-mapping database I had my web hosting company copy all of the files from one of my domains (site A) running pligg on to another domain I own (site B). Everything is working fine except that it appears the the files on site B are still referencing the database on domain A. So when I make a change on Site B the changes are showing up on site A and site B. Can anyone let me know how to change site B's files to map to the database on site B? Thx / Rob |

| in your libs/dbconnect.php file are your database details. You will need to change them to use Site B's database. You may have to create a database and export Site A's into the new one.

| One more DB issue Thanks again for your help. I've tested a few things and the vote option on a story is still linking go the original site A, not site b. I changed my dbconnect file to reference the new host. Are there any other files I need to change? It's weird b/c the story shows up on the right site, site B, after its poted, but if you want to vote on the story it hangs on the page and you get a javascript error: >>> Line:70 Char: 8 Error: Access is denied Code:0 Url:http://www.craigsotherlist.org <<< And when you mouseover the vote area next to the story you can see the url to site A in the IE status area in the lower left of the browser. Any help? Thanks! |

| If your version of Pligg has an admin panel where you can configure pligg go to admin panel > configure pligg > location installed. Change the first module to the location where you installed Pligg. Change the second module if you installed pligg in a subdirectory. If you don't have configure pligg in your admin panel then you will have to edit config.php and look for the location installed line. Make sure to upload it back to the server after editing.
