Can not Register, blank register.php page

I installed 9.5 and everything worked fine. I added the welcome email, still fine. Then I added the security update, and I thought all was fine unit I asked a friend to test it and found the registration does not work. I know the upgrade has nothing to do with register, but I don;t think I changed anything else.

Clicking on the link in Global nav returns a blank register.php page and completing a form post from the home page returns a blank register.php page.

1. Reupload register.php
2. empty templates_c folder

3. check if register.php works

4. post you access_log and error_log so we can get some more information.

Didn't work. :(

I don't see these files in my pligg directory but here's a line from another location

Weird, even the read more link on the registration form does not work.

Thanks for all your help. I deleted the send welcome email module and now it works fine.

In my case I removed the Send Private Welcome Email and registration started working again. BIG PROBLEMS like this should be posted on a page of their own, along with the Akismet issue.
