change trackbackURL for install?

Should I change the trackbackURL for the install process?

my pligg install is located at http://localhost/torrop. After installing I get a blank page. I have the following settings changed in my config.php:


$trackbackURL = "http://localhost/torrop";

define('my_base_url', 'http://localhost'); // the base url to your site.
define('my_pligg_base', '/torrop'); // if installed in a subfolder. leave blank if installed in root.


Is there something I am doing wrong?
