Updated Pligg Pro Module Pack

I have updated the Pligg Module Pack over at Pligg Pro.

Bringing the total from 8 to 11 modules.

For those of you that already own the original Pligg Lovers Module Pack you can now get these modules by logging into your Pligg Pro account and simply re-download the package.

For those that are unaware of what the Pligg Module pack is, here is a breakdown of what it contains.

Activity Snapshot

I am really interested in this plugin pack, but I have 2 questions.

1. May I use these plugins on more than one site (that I own)

2. The one I am mostly interested in is Plingger, it says that you can set it up as a cron and run it periodically, will it ping the last unpinged submissions or will it ping all thus spamming? (I would assume the former, but better safe than sorry)... Which is the prefered way to install it?

Hi Tony..

1. Yes, you can use them on more that one site. Just can't resell or distribute them in any way.

2. The plingger will just send out a ping to the sites listed in plinggerlist.txt It does not send any content. It's just tells the servers on the list to come and crawl for new content. If you don't have any new content some servers may construe the pings as spamming, this is why it's best to run it manually from the admin panel only after new content has been added.

A scenario for running Plingger with a cron would ideally work best if you were using the RSS importer for your content, pretty much guaranteeing that the site has new content before Plingger is run and the bots show up to crawl for new content.

I purchased the pro package, and I absolutely recommend it for any serious pligg site!

I cannot get clickheat to work - I use url method 2 and I am thinking that might be the issue?

Anyway I could get support on this?

I know that a few of Chucks modules require you to have the right PHP versions, so you might want to compare your version with the version that the module says it needs. Chuckroast (the author) will probably catch this post in the next 12 hours and give you a better answer though.
