Blackball reviews

Hello all,

I am considering purchasing Blackball because some spam accounts have already been created on my very new pligg site.

Could someone who uses blackball provide a review of it? $15 is a lot for me but if it will prevent spam I'll consider buying it.

Also, does it prevent spam accounts from being created, or just spam articles from being posted?

Some alternatives that you might want to look into first:

Blackball is essentially a MASSIVE list of spammy domains that gets checked when someone submits a url. So it will help prevent people from posting spam, but it won't prevent registration of spammy accounts.
