ajaxcontact problems

My AjaxContact Module is still experiencing failure.

I'm trying this on localhost, however through the server (GoDaddy), which has verified that php mail is enabled, also does not work.
On localhost, I'm running: MySQL client version:5.0.45 and phpMyAdmin - 2.10.1

What I really want to know is this:

The readme from ajaxcontact says to "Edit modules/ajaxcontact/ajaxcontact_settings.php with your email address and name"

I've done this, but it seems that contact.php and xmlHttpRequest.php also require change.
And if they do, how exactly do I do it? Do I add my email behind this line? $yourEmail = ajaxcontact_youremail;
or
do I change it to:
$yourEmail = ajaxcontact_abraxas@soulb.us;
or
$yourEmail = abraxas@soulb.us;

So far,
all of these changes make no difference, but perhaps an answer to this will get me in the right direction.
Thank you.

Ajax Contact Module :
I've had the same problems with this module "not working" at hostrocket. Php Mail () function has been enabled. However hosting companies will sometimes block the function from working outside of your domain. If your trying to use another email address other than @mydomain.com it simply won't send mail. I have fixed my settings in ajaxcontact/ajaxcontact_settings.php and all is well, working fine. So if you have problems with this working and your using an email address other than your domainname.com address heres the fix.. Have fun..
