The most requested module for Pligg has finally arrived! The Facebook Module lets users login using their Facebook credentials and post stories to their Facebook Wall. Users now have a simple way to promote their stories on your website.

Existing users can use the Facebook module to link their account to Facebook. New members need to fill in some new account registration details and are then able to login to Pligg using their Facebook credentials. Once they are logged in using Facebook Connect they can post stories to their Facebook wall by following directions during the story submission process.

You can purchase the Facebook Module from Pligg Pro.

    Cezz,

    On the email...

Might be a silly question...do you have the option checked to verify the users email?

    It's not about verification
IMO you can download users e-mail address [from Facebook's basic informations] to Pligg, if user connects with FB.

    See...silly question..

I don't have the function to verify on so I cant stand in your shoes.

Isn't the email pulled into the database if it's on?

That's the point, in the database there is no e-mail [blank space] of Facebook connect users :/

You are correct that we don't pull in the user's Facebook email address currently and associate it with their account. I'll look into whether that's possible and if so add it in to a future version.

    Hi,
You might want to look into this one which made for Joomla sites - JFBConnect - BIS Downloads. Business-In-Site.com downloads - range of downloads useful to e-business. Includes Free Joomla extensions, joomla templates, free icons and other free resources , made by Sourcecoast - it does pull in the FB details including email address & includes them into the Joomla database..... it's the best of it's kind for Joomla sites (....and is now being used on the JED - Joomla Extensions Directory - site, which is the official stamp of excellence for any plugin......).

    Hope this helps you,
    Cheers,
    Karen.

Module updated to version 3.2 today. This new version will import user email addresses from Facebook. It also removes the Captcha and Email validation features from the module's configure area in the admin panel since we no longer make use of that.

I'll look into that. We are also going to be making changes to the Twitter Module so that it will function similarly to the latest version of the Facebook Connect module.
