We use this Module on photonews.picturetom.com. Our Problem: From time to time we have very long descriptions for the links, because of Press Releases for example.

When you have a long Press Release it looks like this Screenshot:

How to limit the text in description field for Automatic Featured Hot Topic?

Change to

Hi,

we have a problem at photonews.picturetom.com. We installed Featured Weekly and enabled ist. It works for some months, but now it is no longer shown at photonews.
We don not know why?

We have some other problems with rss und published stories (as posted in another thread), because the new stories are shown in the actual rss feed.

Is there any correlation?

When I visited your site and see the module working fine.

I was able to see that you have PHP Session ID turned on. This could be messing up your site. I also see that you are using Feedburner instead of the regular rss.php that comes with Pligg.

The problems you are having do not look like they are being caused by Pligg but by the server configuration.

Yes, it works since we post a fresh message. After that this new message was featured by the module.
We use Feeburner with the small code-snippet you gave us and it works fine since the 14th March. After this time, we do not have any new News in our Newsfeed and we do not know why. We will check the server Configuration.
