Update out, you can now download version 1.1 which lets you disable CAPTCHA and/or Email Verification for users using Facebook to register an account. Please report if you observe any bugs with the new version.

Another update today. New version 1.2 fixes a bug where users with larger Facebook IDs wouldn't fit into the database. If you are upgrading from an earlier version you will need to change the varchar value for the user_fb field (under pligg_users) to 255 characters using phpmyadmin.

This fixes the kevin4uguys issue discussed on page 3, his FB ID was too long.

Updated module to version 1.4. Fixed CAPTCHA and Email Validation disable options. Also fixed an issue with Firefox not displaying the Facebook login button on some sites.

That is generally how Facebook Connect sites work. Your cookies from Facebook keep you logged in.

Updated module to version 1.5.

Version 1.5
- Fixed a bug from previous version caused by other modules interfering with a module hook, causing the Facebook Connect button to not appear.
- Removed the Facebook information from "Submit Step 1" for users who are not connected to a Facebook account.

I don't know if the fix from Version 1.5 should have solved my problem. I upgraded to day but i still got the following issue:

When i enable the Facebook Sharer the Buttons aren't replaced to the real facebook connect button. I only got the text: "Connect with Facebook" which is unclickable.

I'm using Facebook Sharer Version 0.2 and the Connect Module in 1.5. Pligg Version is 1.0.3

The problem is that the FBXML Version of the Sharer Button should be used. Maybe you should redirect it to the sharer plugin. I fixed this manually in the template Files:

Hello, i purchased the module a couple of days ago, installed without visible problems BUT the day after, a user warned me of being unable to use fb-connect in his further attempts of logging in, after the first time.
To me -the admin- everything is ok, after the first "connection" between my pligg account and facebook account i can login and logout with a single click.
Too bad...the user is right, using some test users (with other facebook accounts of course) i've noticed that everytime a user click on "facebook connect" (and after logging into the fb account) he's asked AGAIN to register to the site or use an already existing user of my site.
I tought of a permission issue and promoted a test user to GOD and ADMIN with no luck...
How about this? This is not a little thing...

I think you are misunderstanding how the module works. When someone tries to sign in using Facebook Connect for the first time it needs to identify whether the person has an existing account or if they need to create a new account on the site. It directs them to a registration page on your site that allows them to either create an account or assign the Facebook ID to an existing account. The main benefits of having users register on this page is that you are able to get their email address (which Facebook connect won't allow on it's own) and you can let Facebook users skip email validation and CAPTCHAs. I've explained these reasons and more in previous posts on this thread.

If this does not describe what you see as a problem please open a support ticket so that we can further discuss it.
