No problem opening a ticket, i can do it but anyway i don't think my issue is crystal clear.

Situation 1: The "Admin" clicks on facebook connect the first time, then the process which you described happens.
When the Admin logs out, he can login again clicking on fb connect, he'll be recognized, it's all right.
Situation 2: The "User" clicks on facebook connect the first time, then the process which you described happens.
But when the User logs out, he cannot login again in a single click with fb connect, because fb connect repeats again the process of asking the creation of an account or assigning a FB ID to an existing one.

Now: is this a normal behaviour?
If not i think i must open a ticket
Thanks in advance...

When someone tries to sign in using Facebook Connect for the first time it needs to identify whether the person has an existing account or if they need to create a new account on the site. It directs them to a registration page on your site that allows them to either create an account or assign the Facebook ID to an existing account. The main benefits of having users register on this page is that you are able to get their email address (which Facebook connect won't allow on it's own) and you can let Facebook users skip email validation and CAPTCHAs. I've explained these reasons and more in previous posts on this thread.

If this does not describe what you see as a problem please open a support ticket so that we can further discuss it.

It may be dump, but have you checked, that the "user_fb" column in table users is a varchar(255). Not a short integer?
This got me headaches for hours...

I bought the facebook connect module yesterday and is experiencing the same problem that the user above had described. Main problem is that after the pain of entering the information from facebook connect and then create the user account on pligg, and then log out, close the browser, reopen the browser and sign in pligg with facebook connect button, instead of obvious behavior such as allowing user to log into pligg, it redirects users to register/login page again, and users have to enter pligg's credential to log in. To make it crystal clear, users always have to enter both facebook's credential through connect button, and then enter pligg's credential on pligg login before they could actually login to pligg and then communicate with facebook.

I had also submitted a ticket, and had not heard back with a reply, and I had captured a screenshot of the problem too and was attached it with the ticket! Hopefully I get some meaningful reply since I had read this thread over and over again to find a solution, but none!

Once a Facebook account is connected to a Pligg account the user should only have to login by clicking on the Facebook Connect button. If they are already logged into Facebook (via browser cookies) it won't even prompt them for their Facebook credentials. If the module is not operating this way then there is something that needs to be fixed on either your server, settings or the module itself.

From what you are describing, each time a user logs in using the Facebook connect button it takes them to the Pligg Facebook registration page? Please reply back with more information on your Helpdesk ticket so that we can look into your issue. Remember to include your URL, a God-level user account credentials, and if possible FTP and PhpMyAdmin login information.

Unfortunately, I had lost the number of the ticket so I couldn't access my ticket in the helpdesk. Yankidank, could you find it out for me? Thanks... Or reply to my email address again so I could see the ticket number, as I had already delete all emails in my inbox.

lurker has you solved this problem yet? Mind showing me the rope? Yankidank, I had sent a ticket, but got no reply from any of your technical support personnels for 2 to 3 days, and because I had not seen a reply, I don't remember the ticket number to access the ticket to add more information so you can help me out with this module! I don't want to buy more module without the necessary help or support! Thanks for your understanding.

Hi argh2xxx

I just checked the helpdesk and see that you were given a reply to your ticket within 20 minutes of first filing it.

If you forgot your ticket number you can go here and click on " I forgot my tracking ID" enter your email address and it will mail you the required information again.

Could you be a little more specific with this question? I don't know what modules or built in features you are referring to when you say "Antispam-Filter".
In general this module should work with all Antispam modules because it only handles the login information for users, their registration information is still stored the same as normal users so there should be no difference in how an Antispam feature handles Facebook users.

Sorry for the delay, guys, but it seems that Pligg forum keeps going offline from time to time when i check it!
I followed the advice of PSCHEIT and the situation improved, fb-connect acted right for some time.
Then it stopped working at all!!!
I didn't have the time to do the whole process again, so i removed it a couple of days ago, but i'll check it again as soon as possible...
Keep the thread alive...
