Features:
- Email Templates: All emails are fully customisable by editing a simple smarty template file. This allows you to customise the look and feel of both your text and html emails.
- Admin Notification of new stories: This is set in the admin section where you can specify a list of emails that should receive notification of new stories. You can also then set the format: text or html. Some sample email templates are included so there is nothing more that needs to be done. If you wish to add further styling or text to the emails, then you can edit the templates under modules/submit_email/templates. Available fields to use in the email are : story title, story author, story content, story category, story tags and story url.
- Notification of comments on your stories: When a new comment is posted on a story, the story owner can receive an email notification. This preference is configurable in the users profile page.
- Daily or Weekly Email Digest:Users can enable to receive daily or weekly email digests of all the posts that occur in the categories that they choose. This preference is configurable in the users profile page.
- Text or HTML Emails:Users can choose to receive either text or html emails. This preference is configurable in the users profile page.
