Smile Anonymous Posting in Mollio-Beat

Hi Pliggers,

I've set up my site, now I would like for people to be able to post and vote anonymously. I've followed all the advice I can find on the forums, and I still cannot get it working. The only solution I can think of is offering a guest account but then how can I keep people from changing the password from the default? To see what I have set up so far, feel free to visit my site:

www.confessr.com

Another question, how do I change the words on the navbar? I forgot how to do it. Been a while since I messed with my pligg configuration.

Would you mind giving us the version you have (if known) and also the steps you've taken so far? In newer versions with the new admin panel you simply go into admin panel / Configure Pligg / Anonymous and change the settings. In older versions you should be able to set this directly in the config file.

Did you mean version 7.1? Did you already make the change in the config file and it's still not working? I believe that should be all that you need to do.

Red face submit.php redirects to login.php

hi jitgos,

i appreciate your help yea i meant 7.1

ive changed the config file, and heres the kicker: when i am not logged in and i go to post a new story as an anonymous user, it takes me to login.php, even if i put www.sitename.com/submit.php in the address bar. it simply will not let me post anonymously. try it for yourself. go to confessr.com and try to post by clicking confess your sins, just for ****s and giggles... weird, huh?

Hey luckyclover, good find in the archives. Honestly I was just thinking about voting and not posting even though you do say posting in your original question. Sorry about that.
