Mollio-Beat 2.0 coming!!!

I've got my own template almost up to date with the latest pligg 9.1 build.
And will be working on MB2.0 after that, so expect the new MB2.0 in a few weeks

Wow - that is a great news and we all are looking forward for it. It always used to be th best and good template for Pligg

EDIT: My small suggestion - base your template on the latest SVN that has many many optimizations and fixes - that would really be great

I got the build from 3 hours ago. "Latest" enough???

Almost everything is working nicely in my own template. The final "steef" template will be on my site by monday i guess. I just have to fix some minor issues and then "re--mollio-beat" it.
(my own template was always the basis for MB and vise versa)

That would be awesome if the new template was going to look like the MB 2.0 that was "started" many months ago Development: Mollio Beat 2.0

I remember screen shots of that template and it looked very nice. No matter what it looks like I would be excited to see it either way.

You want any help - coding or ideas - I am in already [php, js, smarty stuff, CSS are my expertise - though I am just a beginner hope can contribute my best]

Everything's working for my own template (on which mollio beat was based).

New features:
- Admin: better looking RSS importer (actually everything in admin does)
- Admin: news management (easier publish/queue/discard articles)
- Admin: comment management (easier deleting spam)
- Admin: stats
- Frontend: latest comments in sidebar
- Frontend: latest queued/published in sidebar
- Frontend: users can bury articles (also looks nice in IE)
- Frontend: saving articles
- Frontend: see what articles you've voted on

Now comes the work of MB-ing it. I guess with all the other work, it'll take another week or so.

It probably won't be released until the next version of Pligg is released since many of those features in the screen shots rely on the latest testing code.

That's right. It's based on the SVN code of 04-13-2007 at about 02:00 PM.
I will add it to the SVN when I'm done MB-ing my own template.

So it will be "released" for the ppl who download the latest revision. Actually I will be using the latest revision for my own site in a few days.

I guess I/we should take a look at the code before pligg 9.2, so Mollio-Beat 2.0 can come packaged with the next release of Pligg.
