Yeah guys. There was a mix-up with the config.php in the MB1.3. I released 1.3 and overlooked those new features. Will be fixed in MB1.4 (coming soon).

We're working on an "Auto vote" feature on the submit 3 page, so this one will become less confusing. Again, will be included in MB1.4 (or in worst case MB1.5).

just a small comment/suggestion

If the submitter is lazy and doesn't provide any tags, like in this example, the category name on the link_summary line is shown in red instead (woah, nice rhyme )

Wouldn't it be nice to have than feature connected to the comments instead? I have one of those lazy submitters on my real site, and that red text jumps into my eyes, every single time he posts something. So what if the comment text was green when there were no comments, and red when there were?

By the way... this swimfo.com-site is just a test-site of mine. So before you go nuts with your swimming gossip, beware that I might f**k it up as soon as tomorrow. The installation there is for the time being more or less a default installation of Pligg beta 7.2 and Mollio-Beat 1.3, where I've done the config.php-tweaking mentioned before in this thread, plus some .htaccess-tweaking mentioned by Simon here in another thread.

Just a suggestion. You may want to switch the ordering of the divs so that the published content comes up first. As it stands now, published content is towards the end of the document. This hurts for search engine ranking and when viewing using readers.

Something I noticed just now after looking at other sites. My comment voting isn't there. The vote count is, but no vote buttons for comments. Did I kill it? I looked at the config.php and it's enabled. tried to look through the code for the calls, but thats a little over my head. Any ideas where to look to get it working?

OOPS, sorry. I can't vote on my own comment. Thats why it's not there. SORRY

That's nice to hear. But in the meantime can anyone tell me how to suppress the votebox on just that one page? My site is live now and I want this change as soon as possible.

Excuse me if this is a general pligg issue, and not something to do with mollio-beat. But it bothers me that the 'top stories' page doesn't have those 'next page' widgets below the stories. On my website, there is a tendency that the stories that once got onto the top stories page, just keep getting more and more votes, while others pretty good stories are not so easily found. Maybe it would help, if it was easier for people to see also the runners-up?

Sorry Beatniak, just caught your reply on this thread. The issue 2) I had mentioned was just on the third page of story submittion. Story details heading was not part of the framed box around... the story details... I presume this was wanted as all of the other pages had this style. It is no biggie by any means... unless it was meant to be within the box instead of a heading for it.

Not that you deserve any help because you are being an inconsiderate A$$, but I am feeling helpful today.

Open your libs/dbconnect.php

and insert the line:

Right above the last line:

so it looks like:

Save and refresh.. Then start being a little more grateful for software that you are using for free.
By the way I just installed for the first time and had the same error. I am appreciative that you posted up a response for this.. as it took care of my problem right away.
