Ahoy Pliggers,

Every so often I will update this list showing off the top 20(ish) Pligg sites rated by Alexa and Google Pagerank. Please note I am using the Firefox extension 'SearchStatus' to find your Google PR.

Use this list to compare with previous lists I created to gage whether your site is growing or not: #3, #2, #1.

If you have any information which may help those of us w/low scores achieve better results, please add your comments to this thread.

Some basic points that may help you:

1. Add stories/content to your site.
2. Establish linkbacks by posting 'insightful' comments on other sites.
3. Pligg is fixing <titles>, metadata, and breadcrumbs, so stay tuned for new versions.

I don't feel like using Pligg any more, I'd rather focus on creating unique content than link-farming.

Using Pligg, doesn't mean that you have to link to off-site content. Plenty of sites use it to submit and rank unique content. Think creatively.

Great point. What's a better way to be able to have people submit content than Pligg.

Have them send it to you via e-mail, so you have to put it up through wordpress?

Didn't Google get rid of PR? I know it's still integrated in their toolbar (must turn on manually) but rumor has it that they are killing PR.

I see a lot of the sites have dropped a lot in Alexa rank, wonder why that is?
