Due to a change in circumstances I am selling Buzzdup.com. Hopefully someone has the time to take this site further.

In case you haven't seen it before it is a social news site for the UK, AU and NZ

They are 3 separate sites under the same domain, installed in sub-folders, which are all the same with the exception of the color and the content.

What does the sale include - everything to do with the sites.

Currently running Pligg 9.9.0

Here are a list of custom features the site has:

1. Very Custom Template

8. Domain Approval Anti-Spam settings. Allows you to approve and disapprove only certain domains. If the domain or domain extension is not on the list then the story submitted will be sent to a story approval status, whereby you can choose to approve or decline the story. If the domain or extension is on the list then the story will go through as normal.

9. Drop down category menu

10. Optimize DataBase Mod

11. Empty Trash Mod - removes old stories from DB

12. Plingger Mod

13. EXP Gallery (not implemented, but available)

14. Custom Buttons and Badge's

15. Facebook App

16. Google IG Module

17. OSX Dashboard Widget and Windows Vista Sidebar Gadget

18. Up and Down Voting

19. Video Submission, with auto video detect from a number of video sites and uses a thickbox to display video

20. Pop up log in box

All of these Mods are available across all three locations i.e. buzzdup.com/au, buzzdup.com/uk and buzzdup.com/nz

The New Zealand site has badges to it from Television New Zealand (TVNZ) and Geekzone.co.nz, two very large and respected sites in NZ.

I haven't had much time to work on the UK or Aussie advertising so they do not have badges on other sites (that I am aware of)

Buzzdup.com/nz used to be linka.co.nz, I changed it to Buzzdup.com so that the site could expand to other countries.

Before changing to Buzzdup, Linka had a Page Rank of 5/10. As it has not been Buzzdup for long there is no page rank at this stage. Please click here to download the revenue and traffic stats for the last 3 months.

I am open to all (serious) offers. I don't know what the market value of the site would be, I guess it depends on what people are willing to pay.

Just want to say it's a NICE site.. i have no funds to to buy it but may i ask is it really hard to do all this i'm starting to get discouraged before i even get into it

i have a pligg site that i had someone set up but it needs upgrading and it's somewhat broken...

Thanks, it has taken a while to do. I have spent many many hours getting to where it is now and hope that someone can now take over. I have had a lot of help from Dollars5 on the development (who is excellent btw) but I guess patience is/was the key for me. I spent a lot of time with trial and error to get things working.

Have you listed your site at SitePoint Marketplace - Buy & sell established web sites, turnkey websites and more - this is the excellent place for selling sites. Also try listing it at Webmaster Forum - Internet Marketing & Search Engine Forums , Buy, Sell, Appraise and Auction Domain Names at Sedo, the #1 domain name aftermarket, broker, reseller, and appraiser! - I have seen people listing there as well.
