howdy!

first of all - thanx Pligg team and all the guys who made this CMS. yeah, and thanks to digg for bringing this new social bookmarking style into the light
second - there you go here's my "digg-style-on-a-pligg" site:

Basically it's the site/portal/community where to share your ideas. Any idea goes - be it inventions, funny or crazy thoghts, why-not ideas, hi-tech stuff, party theme ideas, DIY ideas, every day ideas, political or philosofical or futuristic ideas, well, you can write there any of YOUR OWN idea and see if people catch up with it, see if they like it (vote) or argue on it (comments).

For now i have these categories:

Medicine & Genetics
Astronomy & Space Flights
Household & Shopping
Crazy & Fun
Culture & Society
Music & Movies
Arts & Entertainment

i'm sure with time, as more visitors come and register, i will have to change them and add more!

i think most of us time by time get that flash through the mind "hey, wait a minute, how about .." or "why don't we make this instead of that to improve ..." or "if i had millions, i'd build ..." , oh, sky's the limit, you get the picture

the main value of my "digg clone" is that now there's a place where we can write down our ideas, share with others and see if they like it or if someone finds them useful or (even better) brings them to life (and even more better!) invites you/gives you funding to make your ideas come true! it's not just another link dump, it's your creative playground, express and search for inspirations.

KINDA DISCLAIMER:
- visitors can browse and vote for ideas (this is so cool!), to comment or post ideas you'll need to register (i'd like to make comments also registration-free, is it possible?..);
- before you post, make sure your idea is "original", interesting or useful for others (example - "iPod in grey color!" suxx, "iPod with built in glowstick" rocks);
- be short to the max when describing your idea - no one needs these days sheets of text like on slashdot - present your idea in couple of sentences, give some examples if you like;
- if it's not really your idea (heard it from friend, saw it on tv in Mumbay), try to give some references/credits of link to original source;
- you can keep your superduper mega business ideas, but go on and share other ideas, i'm sure we all have those that we will never do on our own becouse of lack of time or money or they're just too crazy to try. don't keep silent, get involved.
- spread the word, man! i believe the more openminded people we have today, the more opensource ideas and stuff we have and (more important) produce it by ourselves, the better world we make. take linux or pligg for example

ok, i hope you get the picture Lots of work for me to do - some template improvements (designers welcome!), huge PR campaign and that damn hard SEO stuff, but hey, it's my dream to push the progress, let's wait for the results and everyone's invited to join!
