New Site on Pligg 9.1

Just want to say that install of pligg 9.1 was extremely simply.

We hosted it on http://www.sweets.oscandy.com

The new template is beautiful, clean and effective.

I have even used the RSS importer, no problems.

I was the first to download the new version also

What can I say, Pligg gets easier and easier to use. The features and the friendly user solutions are something you expect from a commercial component.

A quick plug to say that Oscandy.com our blog has had over 700 registered users in 2 weeks. We create components, modules, plugins for the Joomla CMS and Wordpress at the moment.

The pligg version on sweets.oscandy.com will be dedicated to finding resources relevant to all opensource solutions i.e. joomla, pligg, wordpress, sourceforge, drupal, etc.

Countless man hours and resources have been pumped into pligg to created such a fantastic solution; the fact that it is opensource should not delude people, the creator(s) could have charged per install and generated a lot of revenue on custom build. But they Choose not to.
Therefore put you hand deep into your pockets and donate to the cause. No doubt a larger portion of the revenue will be pumped back into improving the solution and we all benefit. it is a win/win situation.

Glad everything worked out great for you. Th devs have been collaborating over a report/down vote feature so we didn't want to have to wait for that to be done before releasing 9.1. Ash has taken on the responsibility (he's got mad skillz ) so hopefully we'll see it soon. His code so far is looking good!

The progress is fluid and works well, so just keep it up and we look forward to more and better features.
