Talking Download FireFox 3 now and set a world record!!

Quote:
Download Day is here!
Set a Guinness World Record
Enjoy a Better Web

Sounds like a good deal, right? All you have to do to help us set the record for the most software downloaded in 24 hours is get Firefox 3 now – it’s that easy. We're not asking you to swallow a sword or to balance 30 spoons on your face, although that would be kind of awesome.

Please download Firefox 3 by 11:16 a.m. PDT (18:16 UTC) on June 18, 2008. That's 11:16 a.m. in Mountain View, 2:16 p.m. in Toronto, 3:16 p.m. in Rio de Janeiro, 8:16 p.m. in Paris, Madrid, Berlin, Rome and Warsaw, 10:16 p.m. in Moscow, and June 19, 2008 at 2:16 a.m. in Beijing and 3:16 a.m. in Tokyo.

I like it - it's faster and better able to handle large amounts of javascript.

So far anyway - I've only had it running for the past couple of hours

I have started liking it lot - majorly due to the performance and lesser memory usage (I have a vista RAM usage gadget - that used to spike to red - not it stay cool in green). The only problem is that Firebug is not yet available for FF3 - so had to use FF2 for most of my work related stuff.

Smile Firefox 3

It runs smoothly on my box. I think it's better than the previous version

I'm a recent convert from IE. I know I'm way behind the times. Sometimes FF seems to work a little slow but I love the features.

That's great. I check processes every now and then and FF2 ties up as much as 300 meg of memory! That's with all the tweaks found online too.
