Server Time Out

Hi..

This has been going on for a while now and I'm really starting to get irritated.
every time I try to get onto some websites, I keep getting "The Connection has timed out" message.
I know that this message is common and that usually this problem corrects itself but that HASN'T happened, this has been going on for weeks now. I don't know how to fix it. I can't even get the sites to come up in internet explorer.
