Banned yet innocent?

Just found out that my former username "hckr4evr" was banned

The message that I received was:

"You have been banned for the following reason:
Script Kiddy Spammer

Date the ban will be lifted: Never"

For the record, I do NOT fit the above description and I have never attempted to spam anyone or do anything negative towards any pligg installation (mine included). In fact, Pligg is one of the few software packages I utilize for my websites that I've left untouched because I didn't have to tweak anything at all! It works well!

I am a WHITE HAT hacker, not a black hat one. I'm on the GOOD side, people.

Just because a person identifies themselves as a hacker does NOT mean that they are negative.

I actually feel hurt. In the 10+ years I've utilized the web as a tech professional I have never been banned...NEVER. And now I get banned simply for my username?

What gives? Why so quick on the trigger and without due cause?

I'll appologize for that ban, it seems like we were a bit harsh with that one now that I look at the threads that user posted. I believed at that time that you were trying to promote the Pligg hacking script.
