What's your biggest hobby?

Please be specific... if you like programming, tell us in which language you like you code; if you like internet, tell us what aspect of internet you like (web development, pligg hobby sites, etc)...

Go ahead, spit it out, let's get this off-topic forum going

Mainly develop websites (or try to). All the public stuff can be accessed from www.virtenu.com

Many things are still in development.

I also play a lot of video games, mainly Call of Duty 2 which I also play competitively.

I don't really have a "hobby." I'm finishing up my last year of college and I really like spending my free time working on Pligg. I did play baseball from when I was a little kid up until I finished high school. I mostly like tinkering around on my computer and trying to learn how to program.

I like your website, really nice, good. Also my main hobby is also website development. I am not big on playing games, mainly because I can't afford $11 for Blockbuster rental, it's too expensive. I can hardly afford my dedicated server.

It seems to me that your hobby is spending free time working on Pligg. It still counts as a hobby, because you do it pretty much on a regular basis and you enjoy it. Would you agree?

My hobbies: I like to read technology/science related article/news (they are addictive), then I like to create web sites, test new scripts/software (my friend recommended another great open source software the other day - it's coded in .asp), plan how to make my first million (only broke people dream about this). I mean, anything is possible. I like my laptop, I consider him my best friend, he is always with me, working well, no complaining.. I actually bought him on Christmas Sale 2 years ago. It was a good price. I must say Dell is the best. And of course, I think I can include my habbits of saving money as another hobby. Even my dedicated server is money saver (well... compared to other dedicated servers), $49/month, I get to play with full machine and full SSH access. If you guys are interested, please let me know, I can send you my affiliate link. Please don't buy it without my affiliate link, I would like to make few extra bucks. Think about it, $49 is an excellent price... I can also include Pligg as one of my hobbies

Glad to see this topic, can't go away without my reply

I like very much to code, was desktop application developer, still like to make some last few years playing with web development. I really feel happy to learn new tech, always spent all my times with my PC. Love to design, and I like most to browse the net, it's seems to me that I'm a addicted person with online, hi hi hi, well It's my profession.

Out of the box, I read book too much, once I spent my life to online chat and playing game I think 'Commandos' is the best PC game ever, even to play Commandos III I leave all my works and spend 18-20 hours a day, LOL

Now a days I even don't waste few sec for the games, but like to see others to die for the games!

Well, if I not stopped now there will be a lot blab-ling ...thanks for the topic, again!!

I would like to get into a bit of hosting some day, mainly for people I know and such. I want to build a rack mount, or at least buy one. Sadly I don't have enough money to even pay hosting lol. So my poor websites are stuck on the machine next to me, but it gets the job done.

Does clubbing/pubbing count? I dont know, we go through stages. Pool/snooker, windsurfing, racing (i even bought myself a minimoto), fishing, bowling, football, tennis, swimming + various water sports, urban funk (dance) + stepping/strobbing etc. Just having a laugh, getting drunk in different places all over the world, meeting new people, doing crazy stuff that usually gets caught on cam etc etc

I only run websites to generate the money for above really he he

I do this stuff for a living.. writing code and maintaining web sites.

When it comes down a little R&R, I like to head off to the woods with my djembe and play until the sun comes up.. maybe a little longer.
