Hi All,
I am looking for site monitoring tool like AWStats, Urchin, site-meter, mint. Which one is good, fast, provides more details, light-weight - pls do give your suggestions.
TIA.

Mint is really good in terms of the details it provides, but am starting to worry on how it records the hits - Javascript - that almost turns me off - http://www.haveamint.com/about/requirements AWStats was quite interesting but that is more server dependent - this is almost confusing me now - with GoDaddy I already had AWstats and works pretty good, but details provided is not to my expectations.

Flickr limits the resolution and the Pligg uploading isn't working at the moment. Took me a few tries to upload it. Here are two mirrors: http://img230.imageshack.us/img230/2...iggmintlr2.png http://img15.imgspot.com/u/07/87/09/pliggmint.png |

I personally use Google Analytics. Does a great job, and at no cost.

Dollar5 - Have you tried the premium stats service from GoDaddy - Traffic Facts? You mention that AWStats is not meeting your expectations. What kind of detail are you looking to find in a solution? Be Well, OneLessThang |

I donot use GoDaddy for the new site that we are working, it is hosted of MediaTemple and am quite settled with AWStats - pretty fast, detailed and neat (though not as neat as Mint) - I took a mint license only to find that the JS cause too much slowdown for the Pligg site ![]() We already use Prototype, Scriptacoulous, and other JS; the Mint seem to be an overkill causing a considerable slow down in site performance - but I really like a lot and and having the license as a spare for my future work.

I just installed Mint and it's awesome! I have just a problem with the Outbound Pepper, which is supposed to track outclicks. It's doesn't work for my Pligg site so I wonder if it's because of the out clicks structure of Pligg? To be more precise, could it be that Mint doesn't consider this to be a out click: Code: http://www.mysite.com/out.php?title=sometitle Last edited by pheal; 02-26-2008 at 06:31 AM.. |
