Current votes table in pligg database

Hi,

I look at the votes table in the database, there is a potential problem.

If I allow guest to vote, the votes table could grow billion of rows.

Let's say I have 100,000 urls, voted by 10,000 users, the potential total rows could be

100,000 x 10,000 = 1,000,000,000

That is a billion rows. Will this crash my computer?

You would then need t cleanup the tables at that point - but that will sure not be very close. You can try changing the votes count to BIG_INT - but not sure - some database experts here should be able to explain - ash, kb , savant?
