Official: New template added to Pligg created by paul411

I just wanted to make it official that we have added a new template to Pligg that everyone can use. It was created by paul411. This is a really nice template and hopefully we will see some more quality templates from paul411 in the future.

How to download:
Download the zip file attached to this post.

How to install:
1. Unzip the file.
2. Upload the directory paul01 into your templates folder on your server. So you should have a directory called mollio-beat and a directory called paul01 in your templates directory.
3. In your site, go to admin panel > admin config > template > replace mollio-beat with paul01 and save. MAKE SURE YOU SPELL IT CORRECTLY!
4. Click anywhere on the website and if you spelled paul01 correctly your template should change.

What we're working on:
We're currently working on a page where your individual users can decide if they want to use mollio or paul01. It's almost complete. It saves a cookie on the users machine.

Original thread by paul411:
http://www.pligg.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1985 Please do not download the files from that thread. A lot has been updated since then.
Attached Files
File Type: zip paul01.zip (195.8 KB, 1141 views)

Just a few more tweaks.

1) In IE, after changing your userprofile and hitting save, the page becomes uncentered.
2) In IE, if you use the page thumbnail preview option there's some mouse over problems with the way the background changes.
3) Modifying lanaguage the fields are too large, and it forces the right nav to go wonky.

I just tried this on 1024x768 and 1280x1024 resolution and it seems to be fine on my end. I know the avatar fieldset is a little whack right now but that's about it.

Can you provide a screen shot? Are you talking about the grey background behind the stories? I think I noticed that too.

This was fixed a while ago http://svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/pl...v&revision=159

One thing I forgot to mention that some of you may or may not have noticed is the new field while you're modifying your profile. There was a pligg update where we changed pligg to require the old password before changing your password. This template uses those updates so it is highly recommend that you make the changes to each of the files listed on this web page (all but profile_center) http://svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/pl...v&revision=159

Click on "text changed" to see the code that was added or modified. Like I said, you only have to change the first 3 files.

1) When you click tell a friend in IE, the content-top background tiles vertically.
2) When you view a story that already has comments in it, the content-top background tiles vertically

Yeah, I'm trying to figure out why IE doesn't like that background image paul used. It doesn't do it at all in Firefox.

Thank you for your job!

I'm not at home, so I can't test it.

Anybody can post a link or a thumb to see it?

Is the search box part of this version of the template. I downloaded a earlier version of it and it didn't have the search box, but it's working fine. I'm just trying to see if I need to download this version to get the search box. Thanks
