I did exactly but when I click on "Delete Discarded Stories", I get the message in new popup windows "Oops, what you're looking for isn't here!..."
I am using v9.6
Any Idea, what I might be doing wrong? Thanks

Thanks, I corrected that.

Sorry for the delay. For some reason I only occasionally get an email telling me that someone has commented on my post. I was never notified of your post.

Assuming you corrected my mistake on Step 1 that the modification is supposed to be made to admin_links_center.tpl and not admin_links_center.php, I can only assume the problem is with 9.6, but I'm not sure why that would be. First of all, that error shouldn't happen because it pops up a plain page without a template. You should be getting a standard error page.

Questions:

1. Are you getting a pop-up at all? Is that the page that's showing the error?

2. The code in Step 1 didn't change, only the filename. You didn't change any of the added code in admin_links_center.tpl, did you? That is, did you happen to change 'href="admin_links.php"' to 'href="admin_links_center.tpl"'?

Thanks, I fixed that one.

It works fine on my site.

It increases a link below all the links, and removes all the discard link after clicking the delete link.

The only pity is that function not replace the discard function directly, which means that we should still move the message from published to discard, and purge them afterward.

But it is still a very useful and helpful function. Maybe it should be taken in the later versions.

Thanks for sharing it.
