Has anyone designed a pligg mod that rewards (gives points to) members for posting stories, voting on stories and leaving comments???
Members can then exchange their points earned for gifts.
For example, a member could earn:
- 5 points for posting a story (reward for 10 stories/day max)
- 1 point for voting for a story (reward for 5 votes/day max)
- 1 point for commenting on a story (reward for 5 comments/day max)
If anyone is interested in making such a mod, I could help with a small donation.

I love this idea as well. Even if there is no physical reward for the points, I think it is a great idea. I'd be willing to support this mod monetarily as well. David.

Yeah, the karma feature would probably work fine for my needs. I guess it just needs to work. I don't think it does currently? Maybe I'm wrong. David.

That's because Dollar5 fixed it maybe. He's/She's (i don't know) great at php, and mysql to my knowledge. Maybe even more!

It just seems like the community has given up on the concept. Seems very curious, because I would think a good Karma system would definitely enhance participation. What is the problem, Pliggers? What am I missing? Why don't you seem to care about this subject? |
