Adding more fields to a story

Instead of just URL, then title and description, how would you go about adding extra fields onto it?

Somethng like a "found on" site url field. or a "cost" field. or a drop down menu with junk in it.

What I'm looking to add, is location, time, and cost. as of right now.

This is something my project is going to require later, I'd definetly be interested in having this mod.
