The EVB button that is currently in Pligg basically acts like a "digg this!" button. It can show the number of votes and allow you to submit a site to a Pligg site but it doesn't have an automatic vote feature yet like digg's buttons do. If that link has already been submitted to the Pligg site then it will redirect you to the story and let you vote.

It's in the latest nightly build in the "current version" forum. Once you download the build it should be in a folder called "evb"

Is there a working demo for this - I was eager to see it - but the original demo link fails on me. I have seen the code but never used it before. |

Sorry, the first post in this thread is really old and the demo will not work. There is currently no demo for this. The easiest way to explain how this works is to think of how the digg one works. The digg one adds the vote counter and a vote button to a blog. Instead of doing that, the Pligg one just uses an image that you can click on that will take you to the Pligg site and let you vote on the story if it's already been submitted or it will take you straight to step 2 of the submit process. There is not support for automatically voting, though. But, there is support for showing the number of votes next to the EVB button on blogs. There really isn't any customizing that you have to do for the EVB besides creating your own images and formatting the button the way you like it.

I have a blog, I tried testing this, but to no avail, how do I add a button to one of my blog posts to see if this works, I have the latest version of Pligg. Geoserv |

You have to tell bloggers to put this line of code in their blog posts Code: <script type="text/javascript" src="http://domain.com/evb/check_url.js.php"></script>

Are you using the latest EVB from Pligg 9.1? I just tested it and it works fine.
