I'd like to put AdSense ads on my pligg site (latest version, default template). I'd like the placement to be in between the PLIGG_Visual_Name and dropdown menus, and the main body of the site, just like digg.com has them.
Would I put the AdSense code in header.tpl, and if so, where?

Place at the very top of link_summary.tpl or even index_center.tpl (front page) or shakeit_center.tpl (queued page)

| This works, however it also places 2 more google ads when I try it - under the 2 first posts. Know a way round this? I'd just like one per page to keep it less intrusive. EDIT: Found a nice way to do it - just add the code to the story_center.tpl - that way the index page remains free of spam, I mean ads... Last edited by mrplough; 12-14-2006 at 10:05 PM.. |
