Unhappy How to submit new items into db?

I'm modifying pligg to include an additonal field with each submitted story, but for the life of me i can't figure out where and how from the submit.php page information is sent to be entered in the MySQL database.

I'm basically looking for where the "INSERT INTO" code is, or does submit.php use some different method of inserting the data into the db?

this type of feature will be in the next version. I can send you a copy if you'd like to help test it.

Do you mean version 8 ?

Can you also forward the beta version of this mod to me as well. I am currently using Carp to implment this feature and still working out the bugs.

This feature is available in the latest version of Beta 6. I'll try to post a howto in a day or two. Quick version, enable "extra fields" in your config.php, and then edit "extra fields.php" in your /libs folder.
