Pligg bookmark: Vote if already submitted?

Is there anyway to make it so that a click on a Pligg submit bookmark turns into a vote if the link is already is added on the actual Pligg site?

It would be great if this happened instead of the 'Duplicate link' error showing up.

Pligg has this. It's called the "External Vote Button" or "EVB"
