When I press a "Bury" button, the quantity of votes remains former, and news only is visible worse for me.
In what effect? The quantity of votes too should decrease.

mobilpress:

I checked this feature out. it seems that once a news item gets buried by a certain number of users, it is not visible anymore. Atleast it appears that way!

this bury is useless, atleast when someone reports story i can see whats really wrong in it. but if someone will click that bury link everywhere, so all my news just will be gone?
i think that old report is much better.

Obviously, it's probably not going to bury your story if just one person buries it.

It is easy enough to modify the code to not display the link anymore when the number of reports is great than a specified value, effectively burying it.

I think that best way to make +1 vote link or button and -1 vote link or button.

Copoket
its easy
if you will use report function like i did it
so you need to change this
like if form was submitted more than 5 times(or whatever you like)
than link_votes-1

$db->query("UPDATE " . table_links . " set link_votes=link_votes-1 WHERE link_id=$link->id");

What exactly does the bury feature do besides greying out the text?

Is there a way to implement a bury mod like Diggs?
