The fixes may not be necessary, depending on what changes you have made.

They should only affect internet explorer - if you load up your site in IE and click on a video link / login link that is connected to thickbox, what you have to look at is does the overlay (the darkened area) cover the whole of the width of your page or not?

If it doesn't, this means that the body tag width is not being set as 100% by the css. In the yget template for example, it seems that the body width is set to only 90%, meaning that the overlay will only cover 90% of the screen also. Really, it should be the containing div (#wrap) that is set to 90%, and the body width should be left at 100%.

Btw, if this proves to be bug free, we should think about converting the mods that use lightbox (there are a couple I think) to use thickbox. I think they will be interchangable.

I'm facing one issue - maybe some settings problem, but I'm unable to figure it out ..

In IE, everythings fine but in firefox, when I login, I'm taken to another page that looks something similar to this - http://www.newsdots.com/login_box.ph...=150&width=250 (link taken from one of Geoserv's comments in the original thread) ..

PS: This is working fine on my local environment in both browsers

one can try logging in with the username "user1" and pwd "user1"

I am getting error but

Hi

I am using modified scriptaculous and every thing works fine in both IE and FF at home and friends place.

Still at work in hospital intranet, with IE browser with lots of firewall and proxy settings it gives me javascript error but only when I first login and when I navigate from page 1 to 2 and so on. The errors are less compared to first version.

It may be computer and software related ( It works fine in my home IE ). I am just reporting I dont know if it is significant or not.

Yeh, could just be a combination of IE + all the security in the way. As long as its not impeding functionality I wouldn't be too concerned - a lot of sites throw out javascript errors I find, but without actually harming anything.

Yes it should be compatible - if everything is working for you now, you don't need to switch to this. Down to personal preference really.

Exclamation

Hi,

First I want to thank you for the great job you are doing here.

I have installed thick box and it work okay when I put it's link, but I want to make the vote button work with thick box, so that when an unlogged member click on vote he gets the login page of thick box.

The installation file says that the code in link_summary.tpl has to be changed, but I can't find the code to change, my pligg version is 9.5

I attached the link_summary.tpl
Hope someone can help me
Thanks
