Mod Request - Category Graphics

I'm going to try and explain this as easy as possible:

I'm needing different graphics for different categories. For example, if a soccer story was submitted, then a soccer ball would show up as the icon, and if an ice-hockey story was submitted, then a puck or hockey stick would be shown.

Source code anyone?
