As a temporary fix, could you just directly edit the database records if you are desperate?

I think that the image module is too buggy to use with the latest Pligg.

Any solution?

Hello. I'm new here and I'm doing test with Pligg. It's very useful for the idea I have in my mind, but I need a feature for upload and display images, so this module is a must .

I've read the whole thread and I've seen that with the last version of Pligg (9.8.x) many of us have problems with Image Upload module. I'm worried because Cent, the author of the module, has no post here since August. Is this module abandoned? Is he working on it?

I have the same problem as in the final of the thread: The Thickbox module does not load (no HTML code in the "head" section of the HTML source of the page generated). I'm using 1.01 version of the module, with the " module_add_action_tpl('tpl_pligg_pre_title_thickbo x', thickbox_tpl_path . 'pligg_pre_title.tpl'); " code correctly set, but Thickbox does not load (only the image in a blank page).

Please, we need some help with this problem.

Thank you all.

bug fix for thickbox

add:

Code:
jQuery.noConflict();
Under the comments in thickbox.js, as your first line of javascript.

Please let me know if this fix works for you.

Thanks -anon.

The module get's the Story's ID. So linking using method 1 is practically there. For method 2, you'll need to perform a basic lookup routine in order to find the right URL to go to.

Thank you for a great job. Can you give me more details on how to use this module to upload an image from a website. I can not get it to work

Hope someone can help in this.

1• Upcoming works ok

2• Story page just loads the gray screen, but no image, or close button, just the gray screen from thickbox, any idea where to fix it ?

3• When an image is saved, it happens the same, no image shows up, just the gray screen. ( the same in voted, comented, etc... ) ( same viewing a tag )

Plus, the image thumbnail and the previous next image buttons are over each other. Any idea how to fix both things ?

If someone can please help in this I will really apreciate it.

Pligg 9.8.2 fresh install.

Thanks.

After following all the steps I am getting some errors in step 3:
Warning: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '), link_votes=0, link_karma=1 WHERE link_id=165' at line 1 in /home/ladipp/public_html/libs/db.php on line 207

Warning: move_uploaded_file(/home/ladipp/public_html/images/img_165.jpg) [function.move-uploaded-file]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/ladipp/public_html/modules/image_upload/image_upload_main.php on line 476

Warning: move_uploaded_file() [function.move-uploaded-file]: Unable to move '/tmp/phpCqAsgs' to '/home/ladipp/public_html/images/img_165.jpg' in /home/ladipp/public_html/modules/image_upload/image_upload_main.php on line 476

1 image error(s) found.
- Error processing image.

You can still submit this entry and edit it later with a smaller image or click MODIFY to try a different image.

I tried to install this module a few times with the same errors. Can anyone help out?

Not sure but I guess your /public_html/images folder is still set on Read Only. try to CHMOD it to Write/Execute.
