Okay, I set it to 777 and now I only have this warning:

Hello.
I`ve made all this changes that described in description of this module.
But nothing happens, when I`m submitting post there is no image, and there is no image in upload directory(I`ve chmoded it to 755). What`s the problem ?
With best regards.

In the first place make sure you have then image upload module installed and enabled.

Also you need to create a directory in the root called 'images'.

If you still have trouble, try to use the debug mode, by changing a value in the settings of this module from 0 to 1 or so. It might provide a better view on what is going wrong.

chmod to 777. The directory needs to be writeable.

my host has sent a few emails about this module which loads
thumbnails via PHP script. They say its very inefficient. Is it possible to load the thumbs directly off the server and not via PHP script?

Everything works fine, but the preview image in the story summary is black, showing no images expect a black box. When I click on the black box it takes me to the http://site.com/images/img_23.jpg and the image works. When i go to http://site.com/modules/image_upload...pg&w=150&h=150 it's a black image box.I have thinkbox .3 and image upload v1.0. Does how to fix this problem?

Thanks

WebWatch have the same problem, on page 8.

1) Can't get thickbox (latest download V0.3) to load, checked in html view source.
- tried without image upload installed
- tried without scriptaculous
- tried optimised scriptaculous
- tried a second fresh install with fresh mod downloads
- tried thickbox_init.php edit as cent said (i also have the 'tpl_pligg_pre_title' version)

2) When Upload Image V1.0mod is installed (with thickbox disabled or enabled) thumnails are black, my server is running GD 2, I have installed pligg in separate directory i.e www.mywebsite.co.uk/Pligg-9-7. Image upload works fine and image link is good.

Please help if you can and please report if you are having similar problems
